Studio Update: So we’re about halfway through the painting process. Got all the walls and their exposed beam done. All that’s left to do now is paint the ceiling, rafters, and then lastly paint the floor. We’ll still need to put some trim up in the spring, but after the floors painted we can start setting up the studio. So we’re pretty close.
News: In the mean time, we are working to get things ready ahead of time (pre-studio setup) with things like setting up the computers for when we move in. For example, I’ve set up the servers and programming for the streaming radio network, got all the programs ready to go for recording, video editing, web design, etc. We really want to save time prepping what we can so we ‘hit the ground running’ when the painting and setting up of the studio itself is done.
This process of building this studio over the last few years has been physically and mentally taxing. Now as we approach the end of the construction, we look forward to moving in and putting it all together. I am excited to begin utilizing this space for its intended purpose; to create.
